I am NeQueela Deas-Blanton, your candidate for the Cabarrus County School Board. I'm running for the Cabarrus County School Board to be a voice for the voiceless, represent the unrepresented, and to create successful educational, emotional and social outcomes, for all families in the community, especially unique families, who mirror my own.

Education is at the heart of everything that we do. And, success begins by ensuring that every student is equally, receiving the best education possible.

ABOUT ME
​
My work experience includes over 15 years in the North Carolina criminal justice system building relationships in the community. My counseling training includes certifications as a Sex Offender Treatment Specialist and a Certified Clinical Military Counselor. For several years, I served as a School-Based and Community-Based Therapist, in both Cabarrus and Rowan counties. Additional counseling experience has been had, working with persons with disabilities, substance use disorders and the homeless. I have alot of experience working with the school system as a parent and disability advocate. With my Masters in Education and background in mental health counseling, and law enforcement I can offer unique perspectives that are not currently being considered.
